The Caffeine AI Manila event drew over 200 participants, including students, developers, founders, and tech enthusiasts eager to explore how artificial intelligence can accelerate app development.
It was held on October 28, 2025, at High Grounds Cafe in Quezon City. It is part of Caffeine’s global initiative to introduce the concept of the “Self-Writing Internet,” a new technology stack that allows users to build software applications through conversation alone.

According to a Facebook post from ICP HUB Philippines (ISLA Camp – ICP HUB PH) co-founder Nelson Lumbres, more than 350 individuals registered for the event, with over 100 prototypes submitted during the Caffeine AI Hackathon.
He shared that the top two teams each received $500 in prizes for their winning prototypes. He also emphasized that Caffeine’s impact lies in its inclusivity.

Event Highlights
- The program featured live demos, keynotes, and panels highlighting the future of conversational AI.
- Attendees also had hands-on experience at the Caffeine Experience Pods, where they could build AI-powered applications in real time.
- Caffeine’s Tech Lead Andrea Faith Alimorong led live mentoring sessions during the hackathon.
- The event also featured international collaboration, with partners from Indonesia flying in to share expertise.
- There was also university participation from National University, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, AMA, FEU Tech, and others.

Caffeine AI, the platform behind the event, enables users to build apps and websites simply by conversing with artificial intelligence. It removes the need for traditional coding.
Built on the concept of the “Self-Writing Internet,” it uses decentralized technology from the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) to allow users to generate, deploy, and refine full-stack applications in real time through natural language.
